Clipping, Styling and Grooming

At  Divine Dogs, we groom, clip and style pets according to Australian breed standards whilst also taking into consideration, owners' personal preferences and lifestyles.

P8170003.JPGWe provide clips or scissor styling for all breeds of dogs – small or large. Poodles and poodle cross-breeds, spaniels, terriers, Toy dogs (maltese, shitzu, lhasa apso, bichon and all manner of 'crosses').

We SPECIALISE in grooming long haired and double coated dogs – small or large. 
Our clientele of groomed dogs includes pekinese, pomeranians, shelti collies, rough collies, border collies, retrievers, spitz, keeshond, huskies, malamutes, samoyeds, old english sheepdogs, german shepherds and afghan hounds.

A groom, clip or scissor styling  always includes bathing (anal gland expulsion if needed), drying, ear care, nail trimming, face, paws and bottom.

Clipping, Styling and Grooming Prices

A final price can only be determined by viewing the dog and determining the time it will take to do the job. This will depend on the dog's size,  the service requested, the condition of the coat and the behaviour and temperament of the dog.

However, some minimum charges apply and are quoted over the telephone:

  • Min charge for a full haircut and shampoo for a small dog is $55.00
  • Min charge for a full haircut and shampoo for a large dog is $90.00
  • Min charge for a groom and shampoo of a long haired or double coated small dog is $55.00
  • Min charge for a groom and shampoo of a long haired or double coated large dog is $90.00

Payment can be made by cheque, cash or EFTPOS

Conditions, Disclaimers.

  • Divine Dogs reserves the right to refuse service.

    Pre-existing health conditions, allergies and aged dogs are examples of cases where special care is required. The owner may be required to sign a Grooming Release Form. All care but no responsibility is taken.
  • Anxious or aggressive dogs may require sedation. Clients should consult their veterinarian.
  • Severely tangled, matted and dirty/sandy coats require additional time and effort and may cause damage to clipper blades and scissors. A surcharge of $15-$20 may be charged in addition to the stated grooming price.
  • Minimum charge for a full clip/style is $55
  • A “pick-up and drop-off” service can be provided at a cost of $10
